2017 New York Colon Cancer Challenge

Too Many Too Young

Dear Family, Friends and Colleagues,

Please take a moment to consider supporting my new Team for the 14th Annual Colon Cancer Challenge on Randall's Island, NYC on April 2, 2017: "Too Many Too Young"

My team is dedicated to the 14,000 young woman and men who are diagnosed with colorectal cancer before the age of 50 every year in US and the many tens of thousands of other young people diagnosed around the world. Most are diagnosed at a later stage of disease and as a result, suffer poorer outcomes. BUT we can absolutely make a difference.

The Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation is leading the national effort to protect young people from colorectal cancer through specific strategies we have promoted; identifying who is at risk based on family health history, promoting earliest possible diagnosis for those who are symptomatic through consumer and provider education as well as leading and supporting research into the true causes for the increases in this life threatening disease, in the prime of life.
